Hilal Harem
Hilal Harem is a community-focused residential village composed of 25 buildings organized into five compact clusters of five buildings each. The clustered structure creates a human scale and strengthens relationships between immediate neighbours while forming identifiable micro-communities. Each cluster is centred around a semi-private courtyard that supports social interaction, play, and everyday communal life, with the ability to be gated when required. The clusters are arranged along a crescent-shaped road that acts as the primary spine of the village, providing clear access and orientation. Pedestrian walkways branch from the crescent, linking clusters to shared gardens and key services located at its heart. An internal pedestrian-only path further connects all clusters, reinforcing walkability and safety. A school and mosque are positioned along Aleppo Road at the edge of the site, allowing the project to serve both residents and the wider surrounding community.
